Things are going really well with Rosie(aka Roxy). She’s adjusted really well. She really makes us laugh. She is a complete goofball and provides us with hours of entertainment every day. She has a lot of energy. Always trying to play with Roski and Charlie. My mother 2 dogs are 8 and 10 so they let her know when they have had enough. She is very food driven and will steal food from the counter or table if things are left out so we are working on that.
I go walking with my neighbor almost every day and we take my 3 dogs with us each time. Rosie, Roski and Charlie look forward to it every day. We get a good 5-7 miles in which is good for all of us . Lol
Rosie also loves to run the the back yard with her fur and human brothers and sisters. Also loves to play tug of war and catch.
No real signs of separation anxiety. Someone is always home. But we did have to attend a funeral a couple weeks ago; it was the first time we had left the dogs alone since we got Rosie and she did well.
She’s been eating Nutro. However I just switched her food today to Canidae Pure. We think she has allergies because she is constantly licking her paws. Hoping the switch will help.
I am aware of the facebook page. I’m a member and have posed about Rosie several times since we’ve adopted her.
So grateful to New Life Boxer Rescue for choosing us to adopt her. I know it’s only been two months but it feels like she’s been a part of our family all along.
