Well I have decided that Dallas should have been named Abe. He is the sweetest, gentlest, loyal, and true boy I have ever encountered. He just wants to please and he has so much love in him. he never stops wagging his tail. We had a terrible encounter with a porcupine that came to the point of him having to be put under anesthisia. He had hundreds of them on the roof of his mouth and on his tounge. It was late at night and he allowed my husband and I to pull hundreds out of his legs feet and between the pads. We worked on him for two and 1/2 hours. I could not stand the pain he had to endure. Any one that knows anything about porcupines know how painful this can be. As terrible as it was he just kept wagging his tail at us.. He was so gentle and sweet with us. Some dogs would have taken your arm off, while he was so patient with us he let us know how he trusted us and loved us in spite of the torture we put him through. Anyone that gets this dog is going to have themselves one heck of a companion. He is so well behaved and he is very obedient. He is still afraid of loud noises but so much better than he was. He has calmed down so beautifully and gets along with all humans and dogs. He still wants to chase those cats though. Please give Dallas a chance. He deserves the kind of love he is so willing to give. Well I have decided that Dallas should have been named Abe. He is the sweetest, gentlest, loyal, and true boy I have ever encountered.
